Women of the Chesapeake is a new informal twice-monthly interview show by and about women of the Chesapeake Region.  The Chesapeake Region may be known for the beauty and diversity of its natural resources. But it’s got some pretty incredible human resources as well.  At least half of them are the “Women of the Chesapeake.”  And just who are they?  They’re fun, and funky.  They’re bold, and sassy.  They’re fearless, and when you get them slowed down and around a kitchen table, they’re pretty friendly, too.  Get to know them up close and personal in a new informal interview show on WRYR, aptly called Women of the Chesapeake.

You’re invited to sit back, relax, and have your 2^nd cup of coffee with us, as we meet Women of the Chesapeake from all walks of life -- business and industry, government, community life, sports, environmental stewardship, healthcare, volunteerism, religion . . . you name it.  These are movers and shakers who make the Chesapeake Region the unique place that it is.  Take a “time out” for YOU and tune in! Every Friday mornings 10 to 10:30 a.m. and Saturday evenings 6:00 to 6:30  p.m.  You just never know who you’ll meet next!
