In Memory of Dr. Gustave Jackson

We here at WRYR were extremely saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Gustave Jackson on New Year's Day 2004.  Gus touched communities worldwide and ours in particular.  Gus succumbed to Malaria that he had contracted while in the rainforest working on environmental and justice issues.

WRYR-LP 97.5 FM radio is a project of South Arundel Citizens for Responsible
Development (SACReD), a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to
work toward a sustainable Southern Anne Arundel County, Maryland community
through research, education, and action.
