BlueGrassorama is a sensual auditory romp through the world of traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. Each broadcast is an exciting presentation of the best of yesterday's bluegrass, today's bluegrass and a sneak peak at what may be tomorrow's bluegrass. There is a good dose of sounds by today's bluegrass giants, a fair amount of lesser known artists and an occasional journey into the obscure. BlueGrassorama spotlights the bluegrass scene in the local Chesapeake Bay area, it's rich bluegrass legacy and broadcasts interviews with the bands, the pickers and the movers and shakers. This show is for bluegrass newbies, veterans and the bluegrass challenged.

Host Roger Green has been a bluegrass fan, picker, song writer, advocate and believer of bluegrass music for nearly half a century. He brings years of anecdotes, stories and first hand experience with the pickers and the music. Tune in to BlueGrassorama just once and there's a good chance that Roger will make you a believer too.
