The Blues has always been about the story. And the Bay Blues show strives to tell the stories of blues performers both past and present, nearby and far away. Join TR and Sweet Willie each Tuesday for a musical tour of the blues across all eras and styles, from the Mississippi Delta to the Maryland shore, from the sidewalks of D.C. to the clubs of Virginia. The show highlights the breadth and depth of musical talent in the area by sharing the passion of local musicians, singers and songwriters alongside recordings of national artists, focusing on the music and the message not the marketing of the talent. The Bay Blues show was inspired by WRYR's Sunday Potluck hosted by Jackie Savitz, and will draw on its focus to bring new music to the listeners and provide a listening alternative to the music community.  Listen in and color your world with the Blues!
